    Charles and Peggy Stephenson to be Honorary Chairs for 25th Annual William Booth Society Dinner; Emily Perkins & Ellison Perkins to Serve as Event Chairs.

    The Salvation Army’s 25th Annual William Booth Society Dinner will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Cox Business Center.

    We are pleased to announce our honorary chairs are Charles and Peggy Stephenson. The Stephensons are longtime philanthropic leaders in our community and founders of the Charles and Peggy Stephenson Family Foundation which provides support to church, community, education and health programs, including The Salvation Army. Charles is an emeritus member of The Salvation Army’s Advisory Board.

    Your support of this legacy event helps The Salvation Army maintain its on-going programs to serve those most in need in our community and across the Green Country.

    The William Booth Society Dinner, named for The Salvation Army’s founder, is the largest source of funding for outreach programs that include the Center of Hope homeless shelter, Christmas assistance, and the six area Boys & Girls Clubs.

    Emily Perkins and son, Ellison Perkins, are chairing this year’s event.

    Past speakers for the dinner include: Tony Dungy, Deborah Norville, Paul Harvey, President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush, Walter Cronkite, Jay Leno, Tim Russert, Steve Forbes, President Bill Clinton, Peyton Manning and Bob Costas.
